Why We Put Essential Oil of Lime Peel in Ritual 1?

I adore the scent of lime. I find that aromatically, citruses in general are delightfully uplifting; a descriptive word used often when describing the fragrant influence of citruses. This is one of the reasons I have formulated it into the Ritual 1 fragrance. For me personally, the fragrance instantly transports me to the land of Florida, specifically Key West. My mouth waters with the thought of key lime pie and fresh mint mojitos. The smell of vacation and exploring an environment different from my day to day surroundings, fills me with immediate excitement.

Additionally, without getting in to the chemistry of essential oils, the therapeutic properties of lime oil due to its phytochemical constituents are antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, and disinfectant, so it makes a perfect addition to a fine fragrant mist that will land on the face when inhaled, and along with the Lavender in it, is cooling and soothing.
